At Lydford Gorge, just three miles away, is the spectacular White Lady Waterfall.
And visible for miles around is the silhouetted St Michaell's Church, perched on the pinnacle of Brentor.
But the star of the scene is Dartmoor itself with its dramatic tors and fascinating remains of an England of yesteryear.
Below is a sample of activities with estimated travel times and telephone numbers. We have a large selection of leaflets here at the farm, and there are local tourist information centres at Okehampton, Tavistock and Launceston. We have drying facilities for wet-weather clothes and equipment plus a secure lockable room for tackle, tack, bicycles and golf clubs.
